What's this all about, anyway?

In March 2014, I went on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. My understanding of a pilgrimage is a trip to a sacred site that is made as an act of devotion. While this trip didn't tick all those boxes for me, it was life-changing. Walking where Jesus walked made me hungry to know more about Jesus, his place in history, the culture of his times, and much much more. It created a hunger for knowledge that I am fighting to satisfy. The true "pilgrimage" piece of my story has actually been made from the comfort of my recliner, as I try to digest everything I've seen, touched, and even tasted. My pictures have helped me to relive the journey. Understanding my experiences in light of Jesus' plan for my life is my act of devotion. There are lessons to be learned here, and I'm on a quest to learn them. As they say on the pilgrimage to St. James de Compostela - Ultreya!
